Johnthesailor Posted September 1, 2018 #1 Share Posted September 1, 2018 I'm going on my first Explorer cruise soon and was wondering what areas smokers go to and that non-smokers may wish to avoid. I've heard there is a "fishbowl" area on the pool deck that does a good job of keeping the smoke from the rest of the pool deck. There is probably a connoisseurs club somewhere as well. Is there another area like the port side in back of the lounge on Voyager or any other areas? Thanks, John
DaveFr Posted September 1, 2018 #2 Share Posted September 1, 2018 The only smoking areas are the two you mentioned. I’ve never smelled smoke on my Explorer cruises
rcandkc Posted September 1, 2018 #3 Share Posted September 1, 2018 I really, really wish they would stop allowing smoking on one side outside of the rear lounge on Voyager and Navigator. It makes the area intolerable for a large nonsmoking population. Explorer does not have a rear facing lounge which I really missed. Smoking never bothered me on Explorer. Rare RachelG Posted September 1, 2018 #4 Share Posted September 1, 2018 I have never smelled smoke anywhere on Explorer, and I am very sensitive to the smell.
