Price protection & onboard credit

Hi. There is now a lower rate for the cruise we booked under Carnival's Early Saver rate, but no onboard credit being offered with this current promotion. We currently have a $50 onboard credit we got with a previous promotion. My question is, if we call to get a price adjustment to this new, lower rate, will we lose our $50 onboard credit?

Thanks in advance!

Which is the better deal? Keeping your $50 OBC or booking at a cheaper rate. If the cheaper rate is more than $50, it's worth it to re-book.

yes. make sure you compare the pricing. My cruise next year went down by 60 dollars and i will have to give up my 50 dollar OBC. It is only a 10 dollar difference for me and somewhat not worth it to submit a price reduction
