Question for those who went to Greek Isles this summer

We were on the Greek Isles cruise in July. It wasn't much hotter than the freak heat wave we experienced here in the UK.

Those ice towels you are given as you return to the ship were welcomed by my wife. Personally I prefer a few beers in the day to keep me cool.

We've just returned from Constellation on a similar Venice-Venice cruise; had 4 days in Venice pre-cruise; then Dubrovnik(overnight); Souda Bay, Crete; Mykonos, Athens, Santorini, Katakolon. the temps were probably over 30 degrees in every port when ashore, although it is always a little cooler on the ship. Athens and Santorini probably felt the hottest, but we never complain as we're used to Uk weather. Remember there's always plenty shade and cold beer in thelocal bars...
