Summer Cruises out from NJ/NY

Have done the Summit a couple of times from NJ. At a party this weekend a CC friend told me that Summit was leaving the fleet or leaving this port in the next year or so--true?

No. The Summit is scheduled to be back in Bayonne in 2019.

The Summit is set for it’s ‘Revolution’ upgrade which is a major redesign in Mar 2019, so I doubt very much it’s leaving the Celebrity fleet. 2019 was addressed in the previous post and 2020 schedule hasn’t come out yet for the dates Summit cruises out of NJ.

 

Those are very popular itineraries so I’d doubt Celebrity would cnx them; could theoretically move another ship into them, but unless your ‘source’ is a major manager in Celebrity, they wouldn’t know.
