rent a car from port canaveral to kennedy space to universal - what to do with luggag

Hi all,

 

very new to all this. When we disembark at Port Canaveral we would like to visit Kennedy space centre, and then drive straight to the universal studios area when we will book accomodation. I was thinking of hiring at the port so we can leave luggage in the car, visit Kennedy, then drive to Universal, drop off car.

 

Is this doable? Can you recommend anything else? Really want to visit Kennedy, but not if we have to drive back that way.

It is your rental car as long as everything fits in the car you can do this. But you maybe subject to extra security checks if the luggage is seen. Any security that would question you should not be a issue as what you are doing is correct and logical.

Don't know how much luggage you will have. But as long as everything will fit into the trunk -- including carry ons -- then you will be okay.

And if you are staying for a few days at Universal, it is worth the rental car to get there.
