Dining on HAL for Solo Cruisers

Since I prefer to leave my options regarding timing of dinner somewhat open, I usually -- as a solo -- opt for open seating, but almost always request to share a table. I know some prefer to have fixed seating, but I have no special requests of waitstaff most of the time. I also enjoy meeting a variety of people -- more friendly faces that I recognize later.

 

So if you're a solo on the fence about fixed seating, the open seating has worked well for me. No weird situations so far, knock on wood...
