Back from Oasis of the Seas Cruise, quick review.

Recommended Posts

On a side note, Oasis is definitely due for a major dry dock. When we finally got off the ship on Sunday, they had removed the entire balconies (superstructure and all) from three cabins (deck 7) on the starboard side, and were rebuilding everything from the sliding glass doors out. Our suite balcony on deck 8 was covered in rust when we boarded; covered in primer and rust chips midweek, and finally repainted while we were waiting to debark on Sunday.

We're leaving on Sunday - do you require a reservation for dinner in The Solarium? Or can you just show up?

I would recommend having reservations - they were quite busy last week. We always book Solarium Bistro pre-cruise on the cruise planner so we can get the times we want. You can also book on your stateroom TV or directly with the Solarium Bistro host (they open for lunch ~noon) once you board.

They do require one though I'm sure the first day or two people aren't familiar with it so you could probably get in if you have a small party.
