Equinox casino limits

Just to quickly comment, yes it was $10 at most tables with $15 be a minimum at some very busy times. This was at the end of August. We did see the low stakes games which were held a short blackjack table next to the Casino Bar (near the art desk). This would be $5 minimum but our experience was it was single deck blackjack which we did enjoy on several nights. Brush up on your odds though for single deck as some of your move (specific doubling down on a few hands) is slightly different than a normal 6 or 8 deck shoe.

We were on the September 14 sailing on the Equinox.  I play three card and they had 2 tables, a $5 table and a $10 table. The $10 table was always empty.  Nobody could understand why they would keep a $10 table empty while there were many times that people were standing at the $5 table waiting for someone to leave. If the table was changed to a $5 then both tables would’ve been full every night. I was happy to get on the $5 table every night. Also, there was $5 blackjack and a Texas Holdem table as well (can’t remember exactly what it was called). With that being said, there were plenty of $5 min tables available.

Ok... so a little slow on the report of what we actually experienced 10/26/18-11/5/18 - There was a $5 single-deck blackjack table every night. As far as Texas Hold-'Em Poker, starting times varied, but they were dealing $1-$2 No Limit.($100 minimum buy-in, $200 max), at a single table with 10 players. Two roulette tables - one single 0 European style and the other with both 0 & 00. Both using $1 chips, one table had $5 minimum play, other was $10, but I don't remember which was which. All other table games had minimums of $10 or more.

I got off the Equinox on Dec 8.  There was a single deck for $5 out by the hallway, not grouped with the rest of the tables.  Many very new players out there. The first few days every other Blackjack table had a $15 minimum and the casino was almost empty.  I kept complaining about it and they finally opened a $10 table, on maybe the 4th night.  They did have one published session that I noticed that was “low stakes”, but I was busy at that time so couldn’t go. This is my memory and what I observed, but seeing as I kept talking to the dealers about it, I’m sure they would have mentioned  if a lower stakes table was available. “They” just don’t seem to understand that not only would more people be playing, but the casino would have a much more festive feel to it if so many tables weren’t empty.
