Cruise the vineyards how does it work?

Hello looking at purchasing the 5 package on Cruise the Vineyards to purchase this before the cruise I understand you have to call , We are in the UK so dont really want to call.

Can this package be purchased once you are on board?  And how does it work?  Can you only drink the wine in the Main dining room or can you get wine from any bar on the ship to drink where ever you want? any time of the day?  e.g can you get a bottle at lunch from the buffet bar? if a bottle is not finished will they cap it and  store it for you ? Do they give you vouchers ? or will it show on the cruise card?

We purchased the wine pkg on our Breeze cruise in 2017.  We called in and purchased prior to sailing, but IIRC, someone was selling the package on the Lido deck on embarkation day.

 

They give you coupons to redeem for your bottles based on which package you purchase.  You can redeem these from any bar, the steakhouse, or the MDR.

 

If you don't finish, you can cork it and take it back to cabin or the MDR will store it for you until your next meal.

Yep.  It's a 5 bottle package in 3 levels (we usually get the middle package).  They will absolutely be selling at a couple staffed displays on embarkation day.  You can also buy it from your head waiter your first night in the dining room.  Historically you received 5 tear off coupons to turn in as you requested wine.  I'll bet that works it way toward something electronic on your S/S card at some point. Can be redeemed at basically any bar.  Blue Iguana or Red Frog rum? Maybe not.  I mean how much wine gets distributed up on Lido anyway?

There are only 2 levels now.

For anyone cruising out of the US, you should know that the wine choices (and price points) are completely different.
