Cruising in February 2020. Will be driving to FLL . Would like to find a motel/hotel that we could stay pre cruise and leave our car there. Not wanting to spend a lot of $$$. Suggestions from those of you who have actually done this would be appreciated . Shuttle to the port would be a plus.

www.sunny.org has a list of hotels offering cruise parking deals.

www.parksleepfly.com and www.stay123.com are tow more sources to check.

2020 is a LONG way off - some of the current deals might change by then. :classic_wink:

Totally realize it is a very long time til 2020. Just looking for ideas...

We used Park&Go because our experience with hotel shuttles has been unsatisfactory.  Always a long wait for the shuttle to arrive after debarking.  Also many hotels do charge for parking.  We look for free parking at the hotel and then park at the port or in the case of FL Park & Go.

Park n go is awesome.  We used them last April. We stayed at the La Quinta in Hollywood, Fl.  The motel does have a shuttle and you can leave your vehicle there.  We just preferred to be able to take the Park n go shuttle back to our vehicle after the cruise.

Just a warning since you are planning on a February cruise.  February is high season and that is reflected in the prices in Fort Lauderdale.  The highest prices that month are the weekend before and week after the Presidents Day holiday (Monday, February 17th).  Many schools in the northeast have that entire week off as winter vacation so there is increased demand for cruises and hotels.  Additionally the Sunday before (the 16th) is the Fort Lauderdale Marathon.  Its not nearly as big as Boston, NYC or the Marine Corps (DC) marathons but it does bring in additional out of town visitors.
