danak13 Posted November 1, 2018 #1 Share Posted November 1, 2018 Has anyone done this? How was it? I have read they have a cash bar and also certain free drinks included in the excursion price-what drinks are included (is it just mixed drinks or beer as well)? Laszlo Posted November 1, 2018 #2 Share Posted November 1, 2018 We did it a few years ago in February. About a 30 minute boat ride. Beach was nice, food was OK, don't remember about the drinks. I do remember it was extremely windy. We had to wrap our selves in towels to keep from getting pelted by the sand Lol
OCruisers Posted November 1, 2018 #3 Share Posted November 1, 2018 Happily, it was a sunny-calm-beautiful day when we were there in January a couple of years ago and had a wonderful time! Yes, beer was included at n/c.

Sand and Seas Posted November 1, 2018 #5 Share Posted November 1, 2018 How was the availability of loungers and shade? Looking at this excursion for our upcoming trip.
OCruisers Posted November 1, 2018 #6 Share Posted November 1, 2018 You can pull the loungers to shaded areas or to where you wish. They will do it for you but that might take a bit longer. There are also regular chairs if you had rather use them than a lounger. They will also bring you a little table to go between them. Nothing but good things to say about this excursion. FloaterGirl Posted November 2, 2018 #7 Share Posted November 2, 2018 When the weather is calm, it is the BEST! Hammocks IN the ocean, all you can drink beer and basic cocktails, great service, lots of shade (tables, umbrellas, and chairs included), clear blue water, and excellent guacamole. The grilled Mahi Mahi was good once when we had it but cold and servers were stingy last time. When it's windy the waves are strong and water too cloudy to enter. Unfortunately this excursion is often cancelled bc of bad weather but we try every time.

tomberly Posted November 6, 2018 #11 Share Posted November 6, 2018 Definitely our favorite beach day excursion. Service was top notch, very clean and good food.
Coastalbreezes Posted November 6, 2018 #12 Share Posted November 6, 2018 Was there in September and loved it. Plenty of loungers, the drinks and food were good and plentiful (especially the salsa/chips and guacamole). The only downside was that the water had a lot of seaweed. You had to wade through it to get to clearer water. Tracy
