highflyingrealtor Posted November 10, 2018 #1 Share Posted November 10, 2018 (edited) Looks like the Freedom needs assistance this morning getting back to port. Damage starboard side aft? Engine trouble? Looked to be under tug all the way in. Anyone know? Edited November 10, 2018 by highflyingrealtor

Rare Essiesmom Posted November 10, 2018 #3 Share Posted November 10, 2018 Unless she's backing up, she is not under tow. Tugs tie up like that to keep the aft from swinging too far when they make a turn. See it all the time in the Savannah River with big cargo ships. Maybe they anticipated too much wind when turning. caddyrag Posted November 10, 2018 #4 Share Posted November 10, 2018 It’s very windy in Galveston could be the reason for the tug boat
highflyingrealtor Posted November 10, 2018 Author #5 Share Posted November 10, 2018 (edited) It seemed like an unusually long time to get to the pier. The webcams were really shaking this morning so yep, probably just the wind. 🙂 Edited November 10, 2018 by highflyingrealtor
