Pamerjo Posted December 19, 2018 #28 Share Posted December 19, 2018 We've taken several cruises on the Ruby. Our first was a transatlantic for our Ruby Anniversary 4 years ago. The Ruby is a perfectly lovely ship. Have a great time!

Sailed on her for the Maiden Voyage and at the end of September this year just before she went into drydock. Considered her to still be a beautiful ship then and is probably even better now since the drydock. Joe Hi Joe & Amelia. we cruised with you quite some time ago, good to see your name on cc. I’m embarking on The Ruby real soon. Julie
vampiress Posted December 26, 2018 #31 Share Posted December 26, 2018 (edited) just off the ruby, i still love her. speaking to the point that 2 people can have very different cruises, the last night I went tot he bathroom near the aft dining room, which i didn't even know existed even though i've always had this as my dining room. one stall had an issue. some lady had turned to me and complained "everything on this ship is falling apart and doesn't work" i wish i had the though to ask her for an itemized list. aside from this one stall in a public restroom, i had not noticed anything being broken. in fact, we kept commenting on how shiny and new everything looked after dry dock. even the muts screen, wasn't awful, yes some wonky pixels, but it did not stop us from enjoying several movies. i'm wondering if she considered "broken" usual maintenance, like closing the promenade for tender upkeep or painting the rails. also loved the chili cheese fries and pizza on the lido. the california toast was also quite nice, the combo of guac and feta was really delicious.
