toseaornottosea Posted November 27, 2018 #3 Share Posted November 27, 2018 Don't know about ENCORE but on SOJOURN and on ODYSSEY there is no bedside electric outlet. All one has to do is let Seabourn know you need power for your CPAP. If there is a bedside outlet they will let you know. If there is no outlet as soon as you get to your suite just let your suite steward/ess know you need an extension cord to the bedside and they will arrange to have the Engineering Department set up the extension cord and tape it to the carpet for safety. rols Posted November 27, 2018 #4 Share Posted November 27, 2018 Fortunately people post photos of everything these days. https://www.cruisecritic.com/photos/ships/seabourn-encore-1068/member-3/70286/ So there's definitely a plug one side of the bed. On Ovation I know there was a plug the other side of the bed but since I can't find an Encore picture showing it, you'd better count on one side of the bed only. But there's at least one and you get a choice of euro or us style. I thought CruiseCritic had a huge professional photo shoot of the Encore 6 months or so ago but I can't find it. That ought to have better pictures I'd think.

Rare Stickman1990 Posted December 3, 2018 #6 Share Posted December 3, 2018 There is a power plug (one US and one UK type) right next to the bed on Seabourn Encore - if you were in bed it is on the left side. You won’t need an extension cord to use it
Rambo_Trout Posted May 6, 2019 #7 Share Posted May 6, 2019 Hi Stickman1990, The Power Outlet on the Right is an EU one, NOT U.K. 😉. Regards, Kevin
toseaornottosea Posted May 6, 2019 #8 Share Posted May 6, 2019 Is there the same power outlet configuration on both sides of the bed? Can I assume that the power outlets on OVATION will be the same as Encore?

The good news is that there are two options bedside - we always travel with plug adapters as no one is every going to install our quirky Australia/NZ style outlets Thank goodness for dual voltage appliances these days - that sure makes life a lot easier
Rambo_Trout Posted May 6, 2019 #10 Share Posted May 6, 2019 Very true, We always have every possibility with us, especially as we often end up in a hotel too. More USB Sockets needed - just like Viking Ocean Cruises have!

One at the entrance desk One above the shelf at the foot of the bed One behind the TV One just under the glass topped table Edited May 7, 2019 by SKP946
