Uber from FLL to Carnival Victory Miami?

Any thoughts on Ubering from Ft Lauderdale Airport to Carnival Victory? We had considered purchasing the Carnival bus transportation at $32 per person. In researching Uber it appears less than $32 total for both of us to Uber. We have only driven to and cruised out of Galveston before (we live in Texas), so we're not sure how this would work. Uber vs Carnival bus?

We did the same thing in July.  It was $49 for the two of us.  (approximately 40 minute ride)

Have used Uber several times between FLL and the POM - very affordable and reliable.  Note that with Uber you can also reserve your pick up time at the POM to FLL in advance.  That is only available with the port to airport segment.  The airport to port segment is by the standard reservation method.
