Chron Posted December 14, 2018 #1 Share Posted December 14, 2018 (edited) I’m hoping someone can help me. I just booked our trip to Alaska on the bliss cabin 8118 for June, but read about a complaint that these mini-suites offer no protection from the rain and no privacy. I can’t find any pictures online or additional reviews. Any help clarifying this would be appreciated. Not sure if I should make a change. Two Wheels Only Posted December 14, 2018 #2 Share Posted December 14, 2018 Part of the balcony is covered but a much larger percentage of the balcony is exposed. If the sun is directly over the ship, for ex., you would have enough shade to sit in a chair but the loungers would get hit by sunlight.
Nator72 Posted December 16, 2018 #3 Share Posted December 16, 2018 We were in 8126 in June to Alaska and found the balcony to be very windy on sea days. When we were in port, it was nice, but definitely no cover. Here is a video of my cabin and you can see the balcony. https://youtu.be/x6y1neNZHmM
