Cheers package still a sticker?

It's been two years since our last Carnival cruise. We usually get the Cheers. Previously, you had to go to a specific area to get the sticker - it was a pain for more than one reason! Do they still use a sticker or is it an autoload on the card? On our last Princess, it was loaded on so we didn't need to get a sticker.

This sticker is just for show. As soon as the run your S&S card, they know you have Cheers. Mine wore off in a few days, the bartender said don't worry about it.

They haven’t given me a sticker on my last two cruises. Doesn’t matter. It’s in the computer.

At some point in the first day or two on the last cruise a couple of weeks ago, one of the bartenders applied Cheers! stickers to our S&S cards.  But yeah, no-one cares, it is all tracked electronically anyway.  On our cruise last Dec (2017), we never got stickers.

Haha - I thought you said "Cheers package still a stickLer?" - and I was like "nope... it's been solved.  Everyone can now easily decide if it's 'worth it' and we shouldn't see anymore threads asking...."
