??? Minimum Amount For A Move Up Bid ???

Can anyone give me a ball park figure as to how much a minimum bid would be for a Move Up bid from Aqua class to Suite class?  Is it based upon the price of each particular type of suite?  If so, we paid $1400pp for aqua and sky suites are $2500pp.  I would welcome any info you might share about your experience with making a Move Up bid.

We recently got move up bid offers from AQ to suite for a five day cruise.  I think they started at $700 per person (or was it $800?) - ridiculous, especially considering we already had the Go Best package purchased.

The minimum amount is the one that allows the least to be placed.   It doesn’t mean that you will get it or that anything is available.   If you really want to upgrade  bid what you feel comfortable with and again it doesn’t mean that anything is available or that you will get it.  

 

The move up is just a insurance for X to fill rooms at a increased price that would otheriwise be empty and increasing their revenue.  If you do move up all you are getting is the cabin and the amenities  that come with it,  no extra points or extra perks, Eg the lower suites do not come with all the perks but you still have access to Michael’s and Luminae.   You may also have to  pay the extra gratuities.
