Recent Marriott Stellaris reviews, day pass

We will be in San Juan for a port day in January 2019 and are looking at going to the Marriott Stellaris resort with a day pass.  Has anyone been there recently?  How is it, I thought I saw something about construction still going on by the pool.  How long is the taxi ride and do you need to head back early to the ship or is traffic not too bad?  Also if anyone knows of other resort day passes that would be better please let us know.  Thanks for any information.

I am interested as well. Are there any other options for day passes or something to do with an 8-year-old? We have done the forts. Thank-you!

Check 'Resort for a Day.' Day passes are available for the Marriott. Taxi is about 10-15 minutes. Not much traffic either way. We have been there many times, most recently September 2018. It's a beautiful resort, the day pass includes a meal credit.
