When do you pay for Fun Shop and Cheers?

Fifteen days to cruising and I am wondering when I have to pay for orders from the fun shops and/or Cheers. Do I pay when I order or does it just go on your account? Or is there a choice?

I read someone who said that you should order your stuff from the Fun Shops 2 weeks before your cruise, and make sure you check your credit card statement to ensure you're charged... he said he bought a bottle but was never charged to his credit card and he never received it in his cabin... 

 

So if it was me, I'd place my Fun Shop order today, and check my credit card in a few days...
