First Casino Royale Comped Cruise - questions.

I have had several comped cruises through my Las Vegas MGM players club (M Life), but have now been offered a comped cruise directly through Casino Royale.  I'm assuming they already know my style of play, as it hasn't really varied on any of the 3 cruises I've taken, so I'm not too worried about giving them enough play.

Drinks?  Will they be free?  With M Life, being Platinum at that time, I got 10 free drinks in the casino.

Getting cash in the casino?  It was kind of nice because the fee was waived (I think again because of Platinum M Life), so you could get cash on your credit card without paying a fee, and the charge came through just as a normal credit card charge, and not as a cash advance.  Much easier than carrying cash.  Just pay it off when you get home.

Anything else I should know.  I'm pretty excited.  I've been on 3 cruises and they've all been on Enchantment which is a rather small ship.  I have an inside stateroom on the Navigator in August of 2019.  Brand new rooms on the 11th deck that only start being available in April of 19.  That should be pretty cool being right on the pool deck.

Anything else I should know?

Thanks.

The question that you need the answer to is, "did they rate you as a <at least> Prime member of Club Royale" ?  Once you know the answer to that question, you will know the answer to your other questions.  My guess is, that if you qualified for a comp cruise, you ARE already a Prime member...but you need to confirm that.  Call Club Royale at 866-213-3116.  They will need your Crown & Anchor number to confirm.

So, if the answer is "yes" and you are at least a Prime member of CR, you will receive both free drinks in the casino and the waiver of the 5% "convenience fee" for cash advances.  Your Prime tier level will be good through 3-31-19.  In order to keep your Prime level you will need to re-qualify before 4-1-19 or you will lose your status.

Regarding the "free" cruise...you just need to choose one of the cruises that is listed on the back of the Certificate and all you will pay are taxes, port fees and gratuities.  It is also worth noting that you can upgrade your certificate to a higher category of cabin at a very reasonable rate.  If you are happy with an inside room, then you are good-to-go.  If you want something a little better, ask the representative, when you call (I recommend calling the number above and NOT the number noted on the back of your certificate) and they will quote you a rate for an upgrade.  I have found these comp cruises to be an excellent way to get a very nice room at a very reasonable rate.

Good luck !!

Thanks for the info.  I'll give them a call first thing tomorrow morning.  Last time I tried to call at this time of the day I finally gave up after being on hold for 45 minutes.  It's been 2 years since I've cruised, so it's doubtful that I'm "Prime", but worth a phone call to check.  Certainly not a deal breaker if I'm not.  Just happy to get the free cruise.  M Life offered me one as well, but I would have had to use it by June.  This gave me choices until the end of October.

I have upgraded my M Life comped stateroom before, but am actually just fine being in an inside stateroom.  My stateroom is actually on the pool deck, so If I want to see the ocean, I can just go out my door 🙂

Thanks again!
