Prince Edward Island port

Hi! Curious about the cruise port and location to Prince Edward Island national park. I want to take this cruise just for a trip to Green Gables Heritage place.

 

anyone done this? Easy? Far?

The above gives you some information I have gathered over the years. The ship docks in Charlottetown which is a considerable distance from Green Gables and the park but it is an easy drive. Here is one of so many possible routes you could take: route

We rented a car and drove it to some of the Anne sites.  The driving was easy and relaxing (in October) but we didn't get as much done as we would have with a tour.  However, we got to spend as much time as we wanted in the places we did go.  I LOVE Anne.  If you do to, you'll like Prince Edward Island.

I also really wanted to go here to see everything 'Anne' so when we did 2 years ago, going again this October , we ended up doing a private tour because the only place the ship tour went to was Green Gables and being an Anne fan knew there is much more to see here. Absolutely loved it
