Getaway Spa Questions/review

Hi all,  Trying to decide if we should put in a bid to upgrade for a spa room.  Can anyone provide any details about the spa?  We would only be using it to have some less crowded pool and Jacuzzi.   Any info greatly appreciated

Search "Getaway Thermal Spa" on YouTube.  The room itself is identical to a regular balcony, with the exception of different shampoos & soaps. 

 

The thermal spa is not outside and the pool not really for swimming, so its nothing at all like a pool on the pool deck.  Hours are 8 AM-10 PM, except the last day when they close at 8 PM.

It'll definitely fill your Jacuzzi needs as the "pool" is essentially a giant hot tub with different areas providing different kinds of jets.  I second looking on youtube for the the videos so you can see it.   If you're looking for a pool to swim in, it won't be what you're looking for.  The spa was great for a soak after a long day exploring ports or just to escape the crowds on sea days.  We didn't find it overly crowded, and sometimes when we went in the evening we were two of maybe 6 people there.

Don't bid more than a total of $400 for the two of you. You can buy 2 spa passes for that and you have exactly the same access.

the only difference in a spa cabin and another cabin in the same category is that it is located near the spa and you get 2 passes to the thermal suites.   The cabin itself is identical.  Unless what you bid is significantly less than what buying the spa pass would be, I wouldn't do it.
