Recent Volendam Cruisers - Laundromats?

I've searched the boards and see varying answers about self-service laundries on the Volendam. Deck plans online are of little help.

 

My question - how many and where?

I was on Maasdam in Sept/Oct.  It had been in drydock immediately prior & the launderettes were removed.  I did use the one on Prinsendam, but it is soon to be no more (Waaaa).  I cannot comment on the other ships you mentioned.

Thanks all.  I'm looking at a long cruise on the Volendam -30 days- and a laundromat is a nicety.  I have mostly quick dry travel clothing, so I can get by with no problem.

I think the last time on Volendam, the launderettes had been removed.  The shampoo is good for doing hand wash in your sink!  And there is a line in the shower.  I always just rolled things up in the towel and stood on it to help dry the wet clothes and then hang them to dry.  I usually take a few little clothespin hangers.

I just got off the Volendam and did not see a laundry facility.

There are no self serve washer/ dryers. I just got off last week. 20 for a bag or 105 unlimited for the 15 day cruise.

Waaa is right.  I was encouraged when I read that about Maasdam until I read your report.   We have four star laundry but there  are things I  prefer to do myself to be sure they are in cold water and not the hottest dryer.    DH will have no problem but I'll be handwashing a bunch it appears.   Our previous long cruises have been on Veendam and the self serve laundry came in really handy.  This has been an advantage of sailing on the older ships.

They no longer have self-service laundry on the Volendam.  The send out laundry service works flawlessly.
