Upper tier party on short cruises?

Have not been on a shorter cruise lately, but boarding Enchantment on Monday.  Read somewhere on these boards that RCI has eliminated upper tier parties for 3/4 night cruises.  We are on a four night.   Just curious if we will have one.  We enjoy them, IMHO it would be a shame to see them go since they are such a nice PR event for RCI.

That's true. Top tier has been eliminated on the 3/4 night cruises.

No top tier on enchantment. They do have a nice Captain’s welcome on night 2 of the 4 night sailing where senior staff and the top cruiser are recognized. There is reserved seating for pinnacle members. 

 

We sailed a 4n/5n  on Brilliance in December and both cruises (even the 4 night) had a top tier party.

Thanks Leo.  That's a shame...not sure why RCI did away with them.  With the shorter cruises, comes a lot of newer cruisers...which is a target audience I would think for building new members into the Loyalty program. 

 

Thought the very best one was the old Monarch as we pulled into Nassau...sigh...things they are a changin'.  😞
