While some residents in the Northern Hemisphere are endeavoring to avoid frostbite, passengers on Seabourn encore were faced with 38c+ (100f+) temperatures as they toured Melbourne and surrounds today.

Melbourne airport reached 41+c (106f)

Lucky they weren’t here 9 days ago when the temp climbed to 43C (110f) and up to 46C (115f) in some nearby centers.

At least Seabourn ship’s interiors are always kept at a pleasant temperature.

From Port Melbourne beach late afternoon 3 Feb. Wishing we were sipping tea in the Observation lounge viewing Melbournes attractive City scape. Encore leaves today and back on the 9th Feb. We hope despite the heat Seabournian's enjoyed our City.
