Is there an age restriction for sleeping in the upper berths? Can 8 and 10 year old kids sleep there? I always thought that was what these cabins were for. Confused. Asking for a friend.

No age restriction however some quad cabins have 1 extra berth and the 4th is a rollaway.

I believe that the only restriction is a weight restriction.  I think that an 8 and 10 year old would be just fine.  There is a railing that is put up by the Steward so that no one falls out if the seas get rough.

Thanks everyone. A mom and dad wound up sleeping in the uppers as they were told kids weren’t allowed to sleep up there. Don’t know who told them that but they followed what they were told. Strange info.
