OBC-can we transfer to someone else?

We are going on a cruise soon and probably won’t use all our OBC-are we allowed to purchase an excursion for someone else on board for them using our OBC or transferring some OBC to them?  It’s family in a different cabin and since hubby & I have been on this exact itinerary before we’d like the family members to use some of our OBC.

 

Never ran into this before so just not sure.  I’ll obviously ask when on the ship but was wondering if anyone has done this before.

You can't just give them some of your shipboard credit.

 

But you certainly can buy (pay) for excursion(s) for them using your shipboard credit.

you could also buy some of their drinks, bingo cards, dinners at PG and other venues, and other things for them.

We have already reserved (and pre-paid) Tamarind for dinner for the 4 of us and will probably book a Pinnacle dinner when on board.   I can see buying some cocktails as well and maybe an excursion for them.  Can hardly wait for this cruise as it’s their first time in the Caribbean.  Always nice to travel with our adult kids and spouse as it doesn’t happen often.

We had so much OBC that we weren't going to use but our friends had no problem spending it!  Besides things that have been mentioned, there are pictures, wine, & water.  You could probably even use the spa too.
