North Star question Ovation of the seas Alaska

Dumb question....... Can you ride the North Star more than once per cruise? Do you need a reservation each time?  What do you prefer night time or daytime? Is that even a thing, day or night. is it open while in port or only at sea? How many people can ride at a time?

I would be asking this on the RCI board, as it is strictly a RCI policy and procedure issue, and probably the same no matter where the ship is. And, I believe this coming season is Ovation's first visit to Alaska.

Yes you can ride more than once. If not busy they have standby lines. Night is nice but if at sea you won't see much other than the lit up ship below. Day is far more popular. Often used in port but rides are usualy quicker and just go up and down rather than also side to side. Fits about 15 people with plenty of room to move around.

Agreed that this thread will probably get moved to the RCI forum.  

 

Saying that, we will be on the Ovation in Alaska in May.  We are looking forward to the North Star and hopefully will get on during one of our two Glacier Days.  Most of our Activities aren't available to book yet, including the North Star.  But I am watching for them!  Once open, can we book more than once, or are we limited to one booking at a time?

Thanks for your responses.  It was helpful.  I  did get more info from this thread than the one on the RCI thread.  😀  Alaska  cruisers are on it!!
