Forts close to cruise terminal?

They are walkable, depending on what you consider walkable.  The nearest fort, Castillo San Cristobal, is about a 1/2 kilometer from the cruise piers and while up hill, only the last 50 meters or so are really steep.  From there it's about another kilometer to El Morro.  But walking along the street has great views of the entire area.  I've walked this in the past wearing a knee brace and a foot boot with no problems.  There's also a free trolley you can catch at the piers (crowded) or at San Cristobal (less crowded) if needed.

Thank you! We were able to walk to both. It was hot and humid but a wonderful experience!

Glad you enjoyed it. We are looking forward to doing it again this coming November. :classic_biggrin:
