Port Canaveral sail away 9pm

So we are scheduled to Cruise in May.Just noticed that the sail away is at 9pm.And embarkation doesn't start till 4:30.Is this something new? Always sailed by 4 and no later than 5 on all other cruises and I am Gold.

The Breeze sail away was moved from 4:30 to 3:30....sounds like they are trying to space things out?

Sounds like to many ships and nowhere to put em. Are things backing up a bit ? Hay, anyone out there have a debarkation port not in use ?   Carnival is gonna need em .

Is this the first cruise from that port for the ship you are going on.  If it is, the ship has to unload passengers from the previous port of departure , then sail to the new port of departure.  That may be why she's departing so late.

Which ship, which date?

There are two ships switching home ports in May, so after debarkation, they need to flip ports, so embarkation is later.
