Wondering if anyone has ever done one?  Tripadvisor has one we are interested in,  Kondesa Culinary Experience.  Gets great reviews.  Tried the ships excursion to Playa Mia for one last trip, it was a lot of fun.  Looking for a different one to try.

We have Cozumel Chef booked for next month. 3 hours, market visit, lunch, visits several restaurants.

Great reviews on Trip Adviser.

From the research I could find, looked like the best fit for us.

Good luck.

We did the Cozumel Chef tour last month and it was fantastic. You hit up a bunch of different places in a taxi-van and the food was fantastic. It fits mostly into the Tony Bourdain/street food sort of experience and it felt great to get out of the tourist pen and actually see Cozumel. We also have an 8yo daughter and Gerardo, the guide, was very friendly and accommodating as was the pricing, which was great for a tour that isn't exactly competing with the beach for a kiddo.

'We have done this cooking class twice. It is a wonderful experience that I highly recommend. Josefina taught my husband to make the best margaritas - enjoyed by so many! Check it out. You won't be disappointed.

How's Josefina doing?  Heard she was ill a while back and limiting her classes.

Recent TripAdvisor reports suggest Josefina is back doing classes. We certainly enjoyed her class several years ago.

Emily (Cozumel Chef) was brought up in US and acts as booking administrator for Josefina aswell as orchestrating the food tours she has developed in Cozumel and Playa. Temporarily she was running some of the cooking classes for Josefina along with other chefs. Emily used to guide all the food tours but now seems to have helpers. She also offers chef services.
