cruisingbajan Posted February 14, 2019 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2019 Hi Guys, If I read correctly NCL is a subsidiary of Carnival. Can anyone tell me if my status from Carnival will be grandfathered into NCL Will be going on our first NCL cruise next year and was wondering if we will have similar status to in Carnival. If so is it automatic or do I have to speak to someone? Thanks in advance. Sent from my SM-J415G using Tapatalk

thinfool Posted February 14, 2019 #5 Share Posted February 14, 2019 They will both be happy to take your $$....but there is no relationship between those two lines. Carnival, HAL, Princess, Aida, Costa (and more) are all owned by Carnival Corp., but NCL is not among the CCL family of cruise lines.

Even my Carnival staus has no impact on HAL, and they are under the same corporate umbrella.
