Whenever it is (or WAS!)I will not get one!

 

We have only received 2 or 3 in the last THREE years. I call Carnival at least twice a year to inquire about my "complimentary issues"... they always act surprised and say "I will officially put you on the list..." -or- "Your address shows as active" -or- "I will put one in an envelope today for you".... RIGHT.. I stopped holding my breath long ago. I have not seen one in about a year...

Tom, sorry you haven't been receiving your Currents, and it does seem to be hit-and-miss.

 

Other that the winter issue, which I had to call/email about twice - and finally got two of - I've gotten every issue for the past three years.

 

(Maybe you can come back in a few weeks and say you're "doing the Currents Cha-Cha!")

This camera is frequently aimed at the Queen Mary and the Port of Long Beach. The white dome is Carnival's terminal. The Pride is there on Sunday, and the Ecstasy on Monday and Friday.

How often is Currents issued?

In the 12 years that I have been sailing Carnival...I think I have received 3 of those magazines!

halos, you're kidding?! Currents is suppose to be a quarterly magazine. The last one was 'winter'. Call Guest Services to get updated on their list. Maybe you'll start getting it?

I just called Carnival 1-888-2255-4837, and told them that I haven't received a Currents since the beginning of last year. The rep told me that it comes out three times a year and the next one is the April issue. You can call the above number.

I'm like MOST of the posters here...I enjoy getting my copy of Currents!

 

Yep, there are usually coupons in there, and a whole lot of info. I particularly like the articles on the different ships, and some of the feedback letters, recipes, photos of the ships and ports-of-call. I always look forward to the next one.

I called about a week after I booked this cruise in September, and asked if I could be put back on the list since I had re-booked..

The yound lady on the line said "absolutely, I'd be more than happy to help you with this"!

Let me see, it's April 9 and I still haven't received one! Hmmmmm.m.m.m.m.m......

Wonder if my mailman is rippin' me off???

Maybe I can get one on the Triumph next week
