What do you want to have on Cruise Critics Meet & Mingle?

Pretty much stopped going even though I sign up.  

 

No Mingling, or room to mingle, theater is wrong place for this, or a venue with only seating, no floor space for the mingling.  Or so few seats it’s a musical chairs. Sea day late morning.  Never on embarkation day, like on last Vision cruise I was on!

 

Not similar time as Top Tier.

 

Coffee and pastries are available from Cafe Promenade anyway, why go to event for same. Mimosas and a few savory snacks would give it the feel of an “event”

 

Name tags for our screen names. Invitations actually delivered, and Guest Relations aware of time and place.

 

Officers in attendance, and mingling! Not just announced and standing in front of room.

 

Giving of door prizes is not an entertainment event.....stop calling Champagne, shampoo.  Should not take more than 10 minutes.....otherwise, boring....

 

Others have given good advice on wanted door prizes. Even a logo pen would be good to let more people get “something”

 

If done fairly quickly, letting people give their screen names to break the ice.

 

Celebrity did it better, and MSC blew Royal out of the water. Best event ever, and I plan on always attending. Drinks, snacks, a beautiful whipped cream cake, and a group photo sent to everyone. Officers interacting.  I don’t even remember any door prizes. But there were lots of servers taking care of us.

Thank you so much for mentioning. Cruise Critics meeting are held normally on first day at Sea. At 10 AM, on Dazzles dk 8.

Top Tier is on Deck 6 Boardwalk. But it is still too early to have 100% confirmation.

 

Since I have changed the venue and time and also started to post here, it’s been well attended and fun to meet and mingle with you all!

The one we went to last week on Allure was very disappointing. There was no meeting or mingling. They handed out raffle tickets to anyone that walked in the door. Turns out a lot of people that won never heard of cruise critic, they had come early for bingo! It was in on air. The room was dark and the seating made it impossible to even see how many people were there. Only got to talk to the couple sitting next to us. Name tags, a room where people could mingle and some time allowed to mingle would have been nice.

I have changed the lounge, since I am back from Vacation. I am listening for all of your suggestion and thank to you all, it’s been an amazing attendance and great meet & mingle.

For now we are holding the M&M on Dazzles at 10 am and Top Tier at 10:45 am.

At the moment we have the M&M at 10 on Dazzles and C&A at 10:45 in the Aqua Theater.
