CruisingMom77 Posted March 4, 2019 #1 Share Posted March 4, 2019 With late 5 p.m. arrival in San Juan where does Seaside dock? Is it the terminal in Old San Juan, or the one across the bay?

TrinaLC Posted March 7, 2019 #5 Share Posted March 7, 2019 Most of the restaurants in old town are fully booked, so consider getting reservations online (opentable.com) a month or so ahead of time. TripAdvisor is obviously a great resource for that. We walked around old town and then had dinner at a great restaurant at 8 pm. Then wandered around some more before heading back. JAGR Posted March 11, 2019 #8 Share Posted March 11, 2019 (edited) If you can get a reservation, go to Marmalade Restaurant & Wine Bar. The best restaurant in Old San Juan, as judged by locals and visitors. Three to six course tasting menu with wine pairings. Excellent service and atmosphere. We have been there four times over the years, and never had any regret or disappointment. I do have to admit that we were in San Juan last week on our March 2 cruise, but didn't go back there, so we live with regret! As JAGR notes (Hi John!) it is fabulous. But it books up almost immediately when open table makes it available. Start checking about 40 days ahead of time, or you could also try calling. diesel1973 Posted March 11, 2019 #12 Share Posted March 11, 2019 Barrachinas Rest. in Old San Juan has the best Pina Colada and their food is good also. If you get in early you can visit the Cigar store in town. Biggest cigar shop I have been in! Very interesting.
