Blue Lagoon - 4 adults

Would a group of four young at heart 40 and 50 somethings traveling without children have fun on a beach day at Blue Lagoon or be bored? It seems to be mostly geared toward families with young children?

It depends on if you like hanging out at the beach or if you want a lot of activity.  My husband and I have been to Blue Lagoon a few times and were not bored but we were there for excursions, not just a beach day.  We really enjoyed the Segway tour there and you can walk around and watch the dolphins and sea lions.  There's a beach bar (get a Sky Juice) and the ferry ride there and back is enjoyable.  If you want to get away from kids, the beach side of the island might be better for you than the lagoon.  Or walk down the lagoon a bit where it's quieter.

The Blue Lagoon has a ferry ride of 20 minutes or so each way.  The beach is

nice, but as said it is good to have an encounter with an animal.  We encountered

the dolphins, much to our delight.

 

There are other beach days available in Nassau on Cable Beach with pools and activities as well as beach time.

Thank you! We decide to try the rum and food tour with Islandz Tours this time. We’ll be back in Nassau on another cruise next fall and may try Blue Lagoon then.

Give Blue Lagoon a shot.  If you want to just hang on the beach and swim in the lagoon, it's outstanding.
