We've taken almost every Rome ship excursion and was looking for a shorter different ship tour this time. Has anyone taken "Italian Countryside and Olive Oil Taste" and would you recommend it?  Please no responses to book private tours as we ONLY book ship excursions.

WE did this excursion a couple of years ago. It was very relaxing and the ride through the countryside was lovely. We enjoyed the town that we stopped in and the olive tasting was interesting. A big change of pace over most of the tours in that area. Enjoy.

Thanks Fitz55 and Fizzy1 for the positive responses. Can you tell me how long the bus ride to Tuscania took?

Tuscany is a region in Italy, and Florence, Pisa and Livorno (the actual port city) are all in Tuscany.  So technically you will already be in Tuscany.  Your bus ride will depend on exactly where you go within Tuscany.  Others who have been can answer more specifically, although the exact destination of the tour may have changed if Celebrity is using different vendors; it happens sometimes.

Rom and Civitavecchia are not in Tuscany and I assume this tour from Civitavecchia does not go to Tuscany as well as it is a longer drive.

Oops, I was looking at the thread title and missed where the OP later corrected and said she's asking about the Rome port.  While you could get to the southern edge of Tuscany from Rome in just a little longer than it would take to get from say, Livorno to Florence, this excursion probably does not go to Tuscany.  There is no shortage of olive oil anywhere in Italy though, so plenty of places the cruise line might take you.
