cruisekitty22 Posted March 25, 2019 #1 Share Posted March 25, 2019 We are celebrating 20 years of marriage and want to sail to Bermuda from the East coast as we are in CT. We are thinking Royal C. or NCL. This would be a short 5 day cruise. We are an older couple (60's) will there be easy excursions for us to do there? Hubby wont go if there are no good excursions to take. We like to just chill out and people watch, go see the Highlights of sightseeing. Not much walking for us. Is it easy to get around Bermuda? Alot of walking? What modes of transportation are there, there.
princeton123211 Posted March 25, 2019 #2 Share Posted March 25, 2019 Most cruise lines have quite a few excursions that are as relaxed or as active as you'd like them to be. Anything from a quick ride down to Horseshoe Bay to sit on the beach all day to running all over the island to see the various historical and natural sights. In addition to excursions provided by the cruise lines its very easy to get around using public transportation (ferries and busses) or by taxi. We haven't taken NCL or Royal Caribbean but both dock in the Royal Naval Dockyard which also has quite a few things to do within walking distance of the ship (although I highly recommend getting out of the Dockyard to explore the island).
