Transportation from the airport

Hi, all. Only a few days left until our cruise! We are arriving on Saturday. Is there a preferred transportation from the airport to the ship, or are taxis plentiful. We have sailed from San Juan before but it was long enough ago that I cannot recall how we got from the airport to the ship. Thanks in advance.

You've mistakenly posted on the home page for all Summit Roll Calls.  You need to post in the Roll Call for your specific cruise.  Open that Roll Call link, and click on Reply to this Topic.  (Don't click on Start new Topic.)

Have a good cruise!

A tip for all of you flying into San Juan...If there is a long line of people waiting for a taxi (Arriving Level) you can always take the elevator up one level and catch a taxi on the upper level (Departing Level). (This elevator can be seen by the line for taxis) There was a porter there that help us with our luggage that gave us this idea and it save us a lot of time. If you use the porter expect to tip them at least a $1 a bag unless you can wheel them yourself, then save yourself some money

  • 3 weeks later...
Hi everyone. We will land in San Juan at 11 pm and need a transfer to the Hotel.
Is it better to book the service before leaving or looking for a taxi when we arrive? Do you have any transport company to recommend?
For us it's the first time in San Juan and we don't really know how to move.
Thanks in advance.

This is a great tip. We did this also in February. Long taxi line!
