Question about Stateroom Doors on Armonia

Hi!

I have a question about the stateroom doors - are they metal? Like to hold a magnet? Do passengers on MSC ships decorate their doors? Thanks so much for any info.

Doors are very rarely decorated on MSC ships, but I have seen one or two done over the various cruises I've been on - mainly birthdays and a couple of doors done on a Christmas cruise.

Thanks! It would be for a birthday. Do you know if the doors are metal and will hold a magnet?

I would assume that they are.  If not, your steward will assist you with decorating it by providing adhesive tape if needed, I'm sure.  I really didn't pay too much heed to how the decorations and balloons were attached to the doors - sorry!

I don't know about the Armonia, but on the Seaside and Divina, the outside of the doors did not hold the magnets that I brought.

Not that we walked a lot of hallway, be be never saw any door decor

We have always put something on our door on the Divina and Seaside.

we use a strip magnet and it holds a piece of 8x10 paper in place for the entire cruise.

Left the Armonia this morning. I can confirm the doors are magnetic. Noticed a few decorated with fridge magnets.
