Uber in San Pedro

Can anyone give me an estimate of the cost of  taking Uber from San Pedro to LAX

I looked it up recently...since I will doing the same at the conclusion of my cruise next week...

$29-39 for an UberX...depending on things like traffic--because that would add to the cost (surge pricing).

 

I could also get a dedicated (not shared) ride from PrimeTime for $32--but I'd have to make a reservation for a specific time.

 

I figure I'll use Uber since I like the flexibility...But I fear getting hit with surge pricing since I'm arriving on a weekday (Thursday) morning...and because there may be high demand with a couple thousand people getting off the ship.  I also figure if there aren't any Ubers available or the estimate is out of whack, I can probably cut a quick deal with Super Shuttle or PrimeTime shuttle  for a couple of seats on a shared shuttle on the spot...
