After her second stint at the pool we went to the room to relax. Our 30 min stopover lasted 3 hours. Another benefit of an interior cabin. Anytime can be nighttime in there!

I got up with just enough time to catch my first and only sunset of the cruise.

Next was bowling. This activity is a hot commodity so if you want to do it you have to book early.

Here we are approaching our last frame and she has a sizable lead on us. I need 9 to tie and 10 to take the lead. Well the first ball I get the tie. Now it's time to squash her dreams of being Queen of the Cruise.

All jokes aside we had an awesome time bowling and spending time as a family. Mix in a little daddy-daughter competition and I would say the stars aligned!

Now on to the bad stuff. I would be remiss to not talk about the ugly side of our bowling experience.

See that line of people waiting to be served? We were behind that crowd just like that when we got to the alley. We had reservations for 10:30 to bowl. We got to the alley at 10:15-10:20. As the cruise was coming to an end everyone and their brother was trying to spend those fun pass dollars they prepurchased. Well there was only 1 person working the counter and she was overwhelmed. By the time she got to us it was past 10:30. Not a problem so we thought. We were there on time Surely they would not try to short us. Well, 20 minutes into our session they pulled the plug saying time was up. This did not sit too well with us. Long story short they refunded our fee.

Hello from Nassau!

Today was to be our relaxation day at the beach and it started just like the others. Being that we were headed back north the best views were right outside the buffet on deck 7 because there were no partitions above the railing. I got there early and just relaxed until the skies turned over. It reminded me of sitting on my boat at the lake waiting for first light to drop a line.

As soon as the buffet opened I nabbed a few slices of breakfast pizza. They did not last long enough for a pic.

After my slices, I took a stroll around the outside decks taking it all in for the last time this trip.

These girls were the only people I saw consistently that were up with or before me. Not sure who the parents were but they were letting them run free!

After my stroll, I went to get the girls and we headed to the MDR for bfast. We usually eat in the MDR more than the buffet but this was our first trip there this go around.

Bfast was standard MDR fare but it really hit the spot.

After bfast we split from the group and made plans to meet up at 12 for disembark to Nassau. We went to the room, changed into our beach clothes, and then roamed the ship. To my surprise, Mama actually agreed to hold up her end of the deal and joined me for some zip-line action. The little one was having no parts of it so she manned the camera station.

Entering Nassau Harbor

Resisting the urge to back out!

I always wondered how they got the gear back and forth between the landings. They shuttle it in these bins. It takes a good 20 mins to do the full circle. Between that and the unexpected long line to zip one of the cameras gave up the ghost.
