Bingo, deal or no deal questions.

Hello everyone, I'm booked for a quick sun cruise next month.

I was wondering the normal buy in for a bingo card, I saw on some dailies from the sky that budget bingo day was $20. And that you had to have bingo within a certain amount of balls being called? Can someone elaborate on their rules and normal price please.

Also I saw someone had a deal or no deal card for the game can someone explain how that is played and cost and potential winnings?

Also the cruise drawing. Looks like a raffle?

Thank you, I just didnt want to set time aside to go if the price was outrageous or the odds are terrible.

The pricing for BINGO can vary greatly.  If you have a port intensive itinerary, then $20 (for a single card, with packages for more cards are available, but again pricing can vary) might be what is offered. "Typical" play (yours might vary!) starts at $39 for one "card" that has Green, Blue and Red game-plays.  Packages with 6 Cards (again, Green, Blue, Red games) have been $49, and a bigger package (can vary, but generally is 9 Cards like above, with pull-tabs and an NCL T-shirt)$69.

I've never played Deal or No Deal, but your "In" cost, I believe, is $25 per card.

First, a computer selected "Player" is drawn. You open whatever numbers are selected by the PLAYER of each game (1 & 2).

The PLAYER has opportunities to take the "Banker's Deal" (computer generated) or "No Deal" and continue to play until all numbers are used (one way or another).  Easy to play!  We watched some nice wins for "audience," as well as by PLAYERS.

In either case, winnings MUST be collected in the casino by the last night of the cruise!!!

Well, the odds are likely terrible for both.  I suggest you to go and watch Deal or No Deal first.  Two contestants are randomly chosen from all card buyers to play onstage and can win $1,000+ which is on the highest amount on the big board, but the remaining card buyers can win up to $5,000 but I've never seen anyone in the audience win more than $200 in the 15+ times I've observed.  Lower tiered prizes are a pull tab slot card (sold for $1 normally I think), a free photo of your choice and $50.

I love to play and sometimes will just go to watch without buying a card if I miss the cutoff time.

Bingo is not my thing, but others love it.

I've won $300 as a player on Deal or No Deal.  I thought it was $20 a card but it could have been $25.  An audience member won a bit more in my round.

The cards increased to $25 in the past year or so, maybe a little before that.

Congratulations on your win!  I've seen contestants win from 25 cents up to nearly $1,000.  It's a fun game.

The contestant has the best chance of winning any money in the deal or no deal game.  I've never seen anyone in the audience win more than $50.  Here's why it's so hard for the audience to win much of anything in the game.

On stage the contestant will have a choice of opening 20 cases, each with a different value up to $500.
Here's a picture of the cases the contestant will play.

The cards the audience members have also have 20 cases on their cards but only 10 values up to $50.  The cases have duplicate values.
Here is a picture of a deal or no deal card.  Notice the values and the fact that two cases will have the same value.

The idea of the game is when the contestant chooses a case, the value is displayed.  The audience then opens that corresponding case number on their card and it must match the same value as the contestant.  In other words, if the contestant chooses case number 5 and the value displayed is higher than $50 there is no way you can match.

Also if the contestant chooses case number 5 and the value is $1, only those audience members that have $1 behind case 5 get a match.  If your case had a different value then not only is case 5 not a match the other case on your card with $1 is now useless too.

The number of cases opened depends on the contestant and whether or not they take the deal.  The odds of matching 8 cases must be astronomical.  Here's a picture that will give you and idea of what some audience members actually win.  This picture was taken near the end of the game.

I go for the entertainment value and no longer buy a card(s).

I won $148 playing Deal or No Deal and my winnings were automatically taken off our on board account.  No other way to receive my winnings. Worked fine for me

I have seen the audience win the progressive amount which was greater then $400 since it was on a Mega ship.  Also it is better to be contestant picked 2nd as based on what was won in game 1 they roll funds into game 2 prize pool.  I have seen the highest amount over $2,000 as $500 is the base version but it increases one a certain number of cards are purchased.
