Platinum Status

   Right now,  hubby and I each have 23 days on RCCL with a 9 day cruise booked in June.  Will we receive Platinum benefits on the June cruise or will it be recognized on our next RCCL cruise?

If you turn Platinum while on that cruise, it would not be recognized until after that trips completion.

No. You will receive Platinum benefits on the cruise following the June cruise. You need 30 for Platinum of course, but you have to have a complete 30 points to enjoy the benefit. Example in our case, we will cross into Emerald on our upcoming med cruise but we won't see Emerald benefits on that cruise (something about free snacks I think is additional compared with Platinum, not an interest for us).

 The only category that is recognized on the actual day reached, is the Pinnacle society.    That is the recognition for 700 points.
