Seafood Buffett

I’ve seen postings of a seafood bonanza Buffett on the inaugural sailing of the Joy this weekend.  Does anyone know if there will be one on each cruise?  Did anyone sailing on the Bliss last year have a seafood Buffett and if so, which night is this offered?  Trying to plan out my dinning reservations based on this.

There will be a seafood night at the buffet... but nothing like what’s served on the inaugural.  They’ll have shrimp, mussels, fish, etc... but likely no crab or lobster.

Ahhh......crab is what we were looking for.   Do any of the specialty restaurants serve Alaskan king crab?  If not, I guess we will have to get some while in port!!!

Yeah - In port is the answer.

 

i think it’s a dumb-move on NCL’s part to do the seafood spread on the inaugurals, as it creates a lot of confusion.  There’s an Instagram post with 200+ comments... everyone excited to experience it on their trip.

Tracy's is Juneau is highly recommended, but honestly any place in Alaska has pretty good crab, though it is not any better than what you get in the lower 48. It is all frozen as soon as it leaves the ship so you are eating crab that has been frozen wherever you get it.
