Question...Please help with Galveston port after cruise

Do you have any information on The Cruise Stop by Galveston Pier. I was told we can drop our luggage there for a small fee and walk around that area downtown. Any information would be great. I know they close at 3 p.m. but how far is it from the pier in walking distance? Has anybody ever had any experience with this.? Can you walk around easy in that area?

Maybe try BagB&B. We used it in NOLA. $6 per bag. Several locations to choose from.

It's located at the corner of 25th Street and Strand Street Just across Harborside Dr from the terminals. Strand Street or better know as the Strand is the major street there in Galveston with lots of shops and restaurants. It's a short 5 min walk from the cruise terminals to the Cruise Stop. You can search for their FB page as they currently do not have a website set up.
