Does This Mean MSC is Getting Closer to Alaska?

SSA Marine, Inc., this is a company of which I am not aware.  But, the aggregation of Carnival Corporation, Royal Caribbean, and MSC is rather an odd combination of, what I would think, of competing interests.

The arrival of some mega sized ships:  Norwegian Bliss, Norwegian Joy, Royal Princess this year to be followed by Koningsdam next year (if not others), makes me wonder how much can the Alaska cruise infrastructure continue to provide a pleasant Alaskan cruise experience when they are inundated with so many visitors?

I heard that MSC will possible will be deploying a new ship in Alaska in the 2021 Season … FINGURES crossed... Nothing is ever confirmed until press release.... 🚢

I am hoping so. I am planning a celebratory birthday cruise for 2021 and had settled on an 11-night Divina Cruise. I am waiting until the 2021 announcements come out. Yep, I would take a 7-day Alaska over the 11-day.
