Someone mentioned on another thread that they were no longer getting a bag of Elite bathroom amenities, but they were in my cabin.

Friday’s MDR Lunch. The brunch items were terrible, but the lunch items were good. I especially enjoyed the rigatoni.

That might have been me! On Royal in March, I got the gold bag but with only about half of the amenities. I was told that's how it is now. Love the consistency with Princess....

Your buffet breakfast looks better than what was served on the Coral repo cruise. Never saw smoked salmon, just smoked mackerel every day. No peaches. Plums a few days. I think strawberries made one appearance (don't recall for which meal). The only place I saw smoked salmon was at the MDR lunch service. 

 

Actually we had good prime rib in the MDR on night one, and good service (I guess I lucked out with my waiter team).

I noticed there IS a small difference in the new carpet on the port and starboard side. Little red and green dots, instead of entirely different colours.

I’m happy to report that MDR dining was a massive improvement yesterday. The tortellini was excellent, and the chicken parm was so good that I ordered a second one.

I meant to give tea another attempt, but I went back to my stateroom to lie down “just for a few minutes” which turned into 90, so I missed it. I did make one trivia, we’re we scored 19, but four teams scored a perfect 20!

MDR DInner. It was Curtis Stone Pork Belly night, which can be hit or miss. Happily, it was a hit, very tender and tasty. I also highly recommend the meatballs and poached egg.

Tonight’s Entertainment: Born to Dance. 

I liked the show; the dancing was great, but a lot of the numbers were from before my time, so I didn’t enjoy it as much as I’d hoped. It was nice to see the dancers finally get billing and name recognition in a production show.
