strange phenomenon

[Traveling Fools]

Have not seen that on a ship, but have been on two passenger flights flying through heavy storms where ball lighting rolled down the isle of the aircraft.  That will freak you out and make you wish the airline offered a UDP!

I have a very faint, drowsy memory of my husband looking from our aft balcony in the middle of the night saying "what is that, are those birds?" I was too sleepy to get up and look, but he seemed to definitely be observing something.
